You are not alone. There are times in each of our lives when we feel less able to cope than usual. Our resources can just seem exhausted. Sometimes the reason might be a change in life circumstances such as death of a loved one or a divorce; sometimes other relationship difficulties such as anger, bullying or a lack of self confidence are causing us to feel distressed and anxious in our day to day lives. Sometimes unresolved issues from the past may be blocking our ability to feel happiness in the present. Whatever our difficulties, there are times when we just can’t see a clear way out of a situation or make sense of it at all.

Talking to a trained counsellor who is not involved in the same way as your friends or family are can be a relief. Having the freedom to give voice to your thoughts in a trusting relationship with the right counsellor can be therapeutic and liberating.

I am an experienced, professionally qualified counsellor trained to listen patiently to whatever issues you bring, understand them and help you through them. I work with adults of all ages in a warm, practical and supportive way. I help you to clarify your thoughts and feelings about the difficulties you are experiencing and we work together to help you find a way forward that will enable you to feel happier and more fulfilled about yourself and your life. My work is to listen and to support you as you move towards achieving empowerment, making more of your relationships, and living a fuller and more satisfying emotional life.
